We believe the harvest is ripe in both rural America and in our cities. We have noticed and experienced that where we have good leaders and churches involved in the community, the results are dramatic and far-reaching.

 

The problem for many pastors is that moving a family to Rural America can be a very isolating experience. And moving a family into the Urban Core can be expensive and overwhelming. We hope to help connect pastors to both a healthy relational network and the opportunity of a lifetime. 

 

We want to take away the fear and expose people to the incredible potential in these often ignored and neglected areas. Depending on the level of interest, we have options for those who would like to intern, have a residence at a campus for a season, and/or interview to join our staff as a campus pastor or staff pastor. 

 

We have a live preaching model that brings each person into a highly collaborative, relational environment with other leaders that are pastoring in nearby communities. This provides for a unique opportunity to leave a kingdom impact on a region of our country. 

 

We feel called to bridge the gap between quality people and wonderful places that have felt the rest of society pull away from them. We are looking to empower and equip people who believe in the power of relationships and have the personal drive to make an impact for God.

 

The Evangel Network of Churches started with a diverse congregation that reaches both an urban and suburban community. The church had an opportunity to invest in the rural town of Archie, MO, and then the downtown area of Kansas City. Through strategic partnerships there are now healthy campuses in Archie and in Downtown KC.

 

We have made a conscious decision to go into places that aren’t always first nor necessarily the easiest. Our vision is to see the church re-establish itself as the center of life and community in these areas of our country. The church should be and can be a tremendous source of life, redemption, hope, and connection. 

 

We are currently entering into partnership with another rural community with a newly remodeled building that will open in the fall and have plans to start two more rural campuses over the next few years and one ministry center in the Urban Core.
